The measurement cycle of the ColiMinder works fully automatic from sampling through measurement, cleaning and re-calibration with autonomy for up to 1,000 measurements. The measurement itself consists of 4 steps: sample is automatically taken in from a water line and mixed with reagents, after which specific enzymes react with a substrate and release a fluorescent signal. This fluorescence is measured optically over time to determine the concentration of target microorganisms. The resulting data are processed automatically and made available in real time, enabling rapid detection and continuous monitoring of water quality. All this takes place in as little as 15 minutes.
