A pioneering scientific study has just been released:
“Online microbial monitoring of drinking water: how do different techniques respond to contaminations in practice?”
(Water Research, 117387)
Different devices for automatic and rapid measurements of microbiological water quality, including the ColiMinder, have been compared.
All instruments measured the identical drinking water sample, which was artificially contaminated to an increasing degree to determine the level of contamination at which each instrument was able to detect the contamination.
The ColiMinder is the only device that has detected all contaminants with a hit rate of 100%.
